Since we are a product company, it is extremely important that we capture all the suggestions that come to you based on all your interactions with the product, client and potential customers while your creative juices are flowing. On many occasions, you might sound it off. But being as chaotic as we are, things might drown in the noises around.
Hence, we are launching a platform ( a simple link really) where you can put down these suggestions. But before we come to the link, we need to build some rules around it. Something we all should be cognizant about and follow if we need the best out of this process.
No bugs: This link is not to report bugs please use the sprints email to report the issues.
No Problems: Please use this link if you have a solution to the problem that you will be reporting.
Avoid words like: Words like “What if” we build “something” that can solve this problem. - Is not a suggestion. We expect you to think of a solution or atleast research on how different companies are solving this problem and give the product team more context to work with.
Business Case: We know that there are a million things that we can do to make the product better, but we have a very small team. If we had a 100 people team, we would have be able to build to build it all (no questions asked). But now since we have limited team members we have to prioritize aspects like Business Impact, Criticality and Ease/Possibility of building it, before we take a task on hand. Hence, request you to kindly fill up all the fields of the form in great detail and help us understand what you are proposing, clearly.

Team Group: Product Updates. It is pinned to the top of the group, so you can reach out and click it.
The core file of the form is available on Sharepoint. Every time a suggestion is added, the product team will get an intimation and a response to it with be added in the file against the suggestion. You can access the file to know the status. If the product team is confused or unsure that they understand your suggestion, we will get in touch with the person who has submitted the suggestion and seek clarity. Product Suggestions.xlsx
The product team will try to cover the suggestions received in the month in one of the product meets.
I hope this process will bring in a sense of contribution towards the product and we will ensure that all the line items of this file will be looked up and considered with complete seriousness.
