Activatable Pre-flight
Release Intro
Creative pre-flight was our first step towards entering the grey areas of creative. By use of consumr.ai's insight intelligence and the capabilities of Generative AI, we ventured in to the space of using intelligence to give better ideas for creative.
Problem statement
While we were giving ideas for creatives, it led to a bit of confusion and/or demands coming in from the users. Listing down a few of them here:
Users assumed that the ideas we were sharing could be used directly to activate, which was not the case.
Once users understood Point 1, they were confused about the purpose of the product and how it would help their creative team. Even though there were many ways it did, most users demanded that we create a path for them to give final creatives that can be activated and tested.
Users wanted an option of character limits based on the platform they wanted to activate on and the ability to ask for a count of variations from consumr.ai.
What Changed?
There are quite a few things that have changed. We have not make our creative pre-flight more intelligent and it will now be able to do a lot more, than what it could previously do.
Connection to Portfolio: It is now connected to Portfolio & Context, so now it can draw insight from not just the insight modules, but also from presets of portfolio.
Adding more Insight reports: In earlier version of Pre-flight creative, we had the option to adding an insight from either, behavior, Intent or Mentions report. However, in the newer version a user will be able to add either or all 3 types of insight as learnings or context.
Copy Creatives: In the earlier version, the process of pre-flight creative would end at generating creative ideas. But now, you can draw inspiration from the ideas and either create a fresh set of creative copies and/or add learning from existing ads to the ideas and create variations of the creative.
Visual Creatives: Visual ads feature was completely missing from the earlier version. However, now, you can reuse an existing creative and creative combination or copies with visuals to create net new ad variations.
Types of creative assets: We have added more types of creatives to the mix. You can now also create creative ideas for Infographics, Podcasts, eMails, sms, whatsapp and app notifications.Though they cannot be activated, but the ideas can surely be downloaded and worked upon.
Ad Activations: Making the whole process worth while, pre-flight creative will now get the option of adding the combinations of created copies and creatives to activate the new ads in to a campaign or adset.
